Horse. Tail. Boots. Yes.

13 Jun

You know those times  you feel like… well, a horse? No? Anybody? I know you’re out there. And wherever it is you’re hiding, I hope you find this:

This masterpiece is by Zjef van Bezouw. I’m not sure if it’s commercially available, and if it is then I’m not sure why.

eBay Success Story: Beatrice’s hat sells for £81,100

31 May

64. That’s the number of batshit crazy people in this world.

I am, once again, talking about the infamous force behind a recent twitterstorm, countless photoshop memes and a Facebook fan page with over 140,000 fans: Princess Beatrice’s toilet-seat headpiece.

Royal Wedding Philip Treacy Hat Toilet Seat

The aforementioned Princess put her silken Philip Treacy creation up for auction on eBay last week and 64 people bid on it. It eventually sold for £81,100.01. Yes, that’s one penny at the end.

Wanna Be My Chammak Challo?

Shah Rukh Khan, meet Akon.
Akon, meet Bebo.
Bebo, meet one of the weirdest words in Urdu/Hindi: chammak challo.

Result: amazing vs ridiculous – you decide:

Shoe Meets Boot Meets Leg

I’ve seen my fair share of shoes pretending to be boots, but a friend recently brought this to my attention: shoes pretending to be legs. Yes, legs.

These legs shoes boots by Prada are available here for $1,500, but in my ever so humble opinion I would advise the following people against wearing these:

– people who’ll wear them with jeans/trousers tucked in

– people who’ll wear them with skirts

– people who’s skin tone is darker or lighter than the flesh-toned ‘boots’

– people who would prefer wearing shoes

– people who would prefer wearing boots

– people.

A Royal Affair – Part II

3 May

I almost forgot to mention this abomination:

That would be Princess Beatrice (of York, I believe) displaying her interesting choice of headgear at the Royal Wedding last week.

I am at a loss for words. I don’t know whether this girl is amazing or ridiculous. I also can’t decide whether her ‘hat’ is amazing or ridiculous.
